I Shall Not Live In Vain

notinvain

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

-Emily Dickinson-

Today I just wanted to share my favorite Emily Dickinson and one of my all time favorite poem with you.
I hope you feel as inspired as I do when you read these beautiful words.
This poem is short and simple, yet not too simple to understand it seems.
I hope one day it teaches mankind that we all shall be kind to all creatures, and that this is what is giving our life a meaning and a purpose.

Have a wonderful day!
